The National Titles are over for another year with the final rounds being held at Coffs Harbour. We had all types of weather from calm classy weather to 20knts on the nose throughout the series of the surf X and long haul events. The Sunday Surf X at Coffs Harbour was fantastic as the sets rolled through around 5ft and it was very touch and go coming in over a 5ft wave about to break while you have 7 other boats flying up behind you putting the pressure on. What a eventful day for spectators and racers. Thanks to all officials, RD's and score keepers over the series. Thanks to Hogs Breath Coffs Harbour for sponsoring our event at there venue as too Coffs Harbour SLSC for there support. The top 12 boats have secured there positions to race at the Trans Tasman next year. NSW State Titles The nsw state titles was held on the weekend at Cronulla. It was a 2 day competition with Surf X on the Saturday and Long Haul on the Sunday. The Overall Results were:- 1st Adrenalin Racing {nsw} 2nd Fat Cat {qld} 3rd Hammer Time {qld} Congratulations to the QLD boys for doing so well in NSW Titles. This was great practice for the National Titles round 1 and 2 held in three weeks at Port Haven/ Laurieton NSW. The Qld boys will be ready.................................. |
